Hey just wondering if any of you are console gamers as well as PC gamers. More specifically PS3 consoles.

If so what games do you play? And have any of you heard many reviews on Heavy Rain? I think it looks fantastic! But don't have the money to shell out for it atm :'(

I don't even own a console. The games play shit, no mouse and keyboard.
Besides the ability to add your own mods and stuff to RPG's is
terrific on PC.

yeah I just feel atm that PC's are a little behind and that the games coming out are just as good on console atm. But say mid year PC will have it back no doubt.

And yes keyboard and mouse is a HUGE! HUGE! Plus for gaming IMO.

But atm games look better on my telly than on my PC...

Plug your PC into your TV then. Might want to upgrade GFX card
though if your going to be plugging into a 40" LCD playing at 1920x1080.
Plus with a wireless keyboard and mouse, you don't even need to get up to
turn on/off your PC or anything. Can do it all from your couch like a console.

Actually, PC's are ahead.. but to be ahead it tends to cost a bit of money.

And the majority of games coming out today are made for console anyways.. PC gamers are being forgotten about..

Yeah PC will always be ahead visually, but it's about keeping up with the cash flow.

And I've had my PC plugged into my TV once but it's such a pain moving everything so not gonna happen again anytime soon.

And squish you are 100% right about PC gamers being forgotten about, take COD MW2 for example. "Oh we can make more $$ of map packs with console than with PC, lets not make dedicated servers."

I'm happy on my PS3 atm. I use it for sports sims anyway, which IMO PC will never, ever, ever! be better for. Controller all the way.

But FPS = PC hands down.

Even your sport simulators though, there is such a wide variety of controllers
for PC out there, you can still make it play like a console.

But even games that come out on PC are usually ported from console
and that never works well, take assassins creed for example. Basically
un-playable on PC with the amount of bugs. That's one thing consoles do
have in advantage over PC's.

Yeah, I have my PS3 controller hacked to work on my PC Smile

but it is never the same...

I'm a console gamer.. But mostly Wii and sometimes PS2. Want a PS3 though for Grand Theft Auto IV, Final Fantasy XIII, CoD:MW2 and the next Kingdom Hearts.

I've been a gamer all my life.....since i first picked up the joystick for the Atari 2600.
I've played every console around..Yes its easy just load the game and play. But i noticed that consoles can be glitchy with lower quality of graphics and long load times.

I know computers can be a head-fuck and a half but i'll still stand by my P.C. The ability to update and mod games is endless.
